First day of the long study tour- in London after our late flight the night before.
Getting off the T! Was quite crowded because of some delays.
Our visit to TNS, a huge marketing firm. The presenter was actually interesting which was far more then I had expected when I was told I was headed to a marketing firm.
Back on the tube for a tour of the BBC
Inside the BBC
The tour was quite general, kind of the pensioner special, but still relatively interesting
On my own free time (Thank god! I am very definitely not a group person)
Looking towards the Tate Modern.
London weather may be rainy but it certainly provides no shortage of drama.
Inside the Modern- though sadly not enough time to get to exhibitions.
Unilever is not cool but this artwork was
Maison Tropicale, a very interesting concept for easy to assemble tropical housing. A great article in the NY Times here: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/16/nyregion/16house.html?_r=1&oref=slogin
Walking by the shooting for a music video on my way to the London Eye
Guess there was also something else being filmed
Was rainy but still a lot of fun!
David not looking to plussed
but then conquering!
Night descended and I began to toy with the lovely light
Woo hoo! Not the right spelling though :D
Had my first pub hard cider. Wasn't quite woodchuck though.
